About Bolton Ferret Welfare

Bolton Ferret Welfare, formed in 1994, provides a service by taking in some lost and abandoned ferrets. Because of lack of room to expand BFW is limited regarding the number of ferrets that can be taken in.
My other half, Ron, was also very much involved with the welfare right up until his death from cancer on the 31st May 2000.
BFW has now teamed up with Jean of Sid's Ferret Welfare in Bradford. To raise funds the welfares attend country events, steam rallies, carnivals, fetes, etc. during the spring and summer, where we invite members of the public to meet some of our ferrets and we also put on ferret racing which is quite popular, we are now taking bookings for the 2014 season.
If you are an organiser of a school fete, carnival, rally etc and you need an added attraction. Ferret racing can either be an event staged in the main arena or as a "side show", please contact us for further details:
